The coronavirus outbreak is a constantly developing situation.
Currently, the UK is still using a containment strategy to control the outbreak. The Chief Medical Officer has raised the risk level for the public from low to moderate.
This strategy could start to have a significant effect on care homes where staff need to self-isolate as a result of coming into contact with people who have visited countries or areas at risk of coronavirus infection. Including people visiting relatives in homes or supported accommodation.

The system can not directly combat the virus but it can be used to limit transmission. By not having to open doors the risk of transmission from door handles is reduced. Also limiting face to face contact with residents will help to protect from the ongoing transmission of coronavirus. Monitoring can also be carried out remotely so staff who come into direct contact with residents can be monitored for the virus more effectively.

Within approximately a week from order, it depends on the monitoring option you wish to use. Using your own staff is quicker, the training is easy to understand anyone who uses a smartphone would be able to use the system. If we are monitoring your cameras it will depend on availability but normally a week is long enough.
1. Monitoring a private camera installation is £7 per hour – Minimum 2 nights of 8 hours per week, the contract period is 3 months.
2. For self-monitoring systems there is a monthly fee per camera installed, the contract period is 3 months. Additional one-off costs for additional equipment purchases if required.
Yes, our self-monitoring packages are available worldwide. There could be issues with shipping equipment to some countries but we are not aware of any yet.
Yes, our monitored solution is designed as an alternative to waking nights carers for people who have tonic-clonic epileptic seizures in a private installation, the cost of using our system is lower than the hourly rate for an agency waking night carer & has better diagnostic capabilities.
